Elms Coffee Shop is a traditional caff on York Road in Battersea, serving cooked breakfasts, hot sandwiches, jacket potatoes and daily lunches. Everything is cooked to order behind the counter — nothing sits under a lamp. Eat in at one of our tables, or order ahead and collect it on your way past.

Open before the city is
At six in the morning York Road belongs to the people who keep London running — site workers, drivers, nurses coming off nights. That is who we opened for, and they are still first through the door.
By mid-morning it fills up with everyone else: parents after the school run, people working from home who want a proper plate instead of a desk sandwich, and regulars who have had the same order for years. We are a couple of minutes from Battersea Park and a short walk from the Power Station development.
